Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented US IT Recruiter with 1.5 to 2 years of experience in the US staffing industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the full recruitment life cycle and experience working with both direct clients and implementation partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Source, screen, and qualify candidates for various IT positions (W2, C2C, and 1099).
Utilize job boards (Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder), LinkedIn, and ATS to identify and engage top talent.
Coordinate interviews and follow up with candidates and clients in a timely manner.
Negotiate salaries, rates, and terms of employment.
Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline for recurring and future requirements.
Maintain candidate records and activity tracking in the ATS.
Work closely with the Account Managers and delivery team to understand client requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1 to 2 years of experience as a US IT Recruiter in a staffing firm.
Solid understanding of US hiring terms (W2, C2C, 1099) and tax terms.
Proficient in using sourcing tools such as Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, and LinkedIn.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to work independently.
Familiarity with ATS (Applicant Tracking System).
Ability to work night shifts (EST/PST time zones).
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
Experience working with Tier 1 vendors or implementation partners.
Strong knowledge of various IT technologies and job market trends.
