Currently seeking a full-time BI Data Engineer | Hybrid role
We are currently seeking a full-time BI Data Engineer for one of our clients located in NYC. This is a hybrid role, requiring in-office attendance one day a week. Please send the resume ani@nuware.com
Key qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science
- 6+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- 6+ years of experience using ETL tools such as Microsoft SSIS
- 3 years of software development experience on BI platforms like SSRS, Power BI, or Tableau
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- Expertise in data migration and data warehousing, particularly with complex issues requiring advanced troubleshooting
- Experience in developing Business Intelligence solutions, including creating dashboards and reports
Additional experience in the following areas is preferred:
- Data migration from various systems to SQL Server Database
- Building Data Marts using dimensional models
- Oracle PL/SQL
- Maintaining code/scripts in TFS across multiple environments
- DBA activities such as database backup and restore
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively to complete projects on time. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
