EAD OPT
Optional Practical Training
(One who has STEM/ masters degree)
They can work any where for 28 months (Initially 11 months + 17 months=28 months)
After Masters

EAD CPT
Curricular Practical Training
They can only work part time - during masters


EAD GC
These are the people who have their I140 approved and going towards getting their Green Card or in other words to make it more meaningful to this question, I will call they are going to become a Permanent Resident of this country. It might take some time for them to get the GC but ultimately they will be getting it either today or tomorrow.
Further being on GC EAD this person can work with any employer and a well suitable for Permanent jobs too considering the fact that ultimately he will be becoming a Permanent Resident so there will be no break in his employment.
