Visa Fraud in USA

A Serious Warning on Green Card Document Fraud

We’re seeing a dangerous trend in the IT staffing industry
Some companies are marketing consultant as Green Card holders, falsely presenting them to clients.
In many cases, EAD cards and immigration documents are being edited to show fake GC status.
Reminder: Misrepresentation of U.S. immigration status is a federal crime.
Under 8 U.S. Code § 1324c and 18 U.S. Code § 1546:
️ You could face deportation,
️ Up to 10 years in prison,
️ Fines up to $250,000,
️ And permanent denial of immigration benefits — including H-1B or Green Card in the future.
Even if someone else edits your documents, if you knowingly use them, you are responsible.
Be honest about your status
Avoid companies pushing fraud
Protect your future — your career depends on it
Let’s raise awareness and help our staffing community make informed, lawful choices
