BI Developer

Duties and Responsibilities:

•         Data Modeling BI and Data Warehousing solutions.

•         Assists in implementing effective business analytics and reporting practices that drive improved

·         decision making, efficiency and performance.

·         Communicate with nontechnical business users to determine specific business requirements for reporting and business intelligence solutions.

·         Communicates regularly with other IT members and operational staff to ensure database integrity, governance, security and optimized performance at the BI application and database level.

•         Identifies, communicates, and resolves data quality and data reconciliation issues.

•         Performs independent audits and reviews and validates databases and reporting to ensure data integrity.

•         Works collaboratively with business partners and other data science team members to resolve data discrepancies and/or to clarify reporting procedures as needed.

·         Maintains an accurate and comprehensive inventory of data, data systems, and data storage.

•         Protects confidential information.

Qualifications:

•         5+ years developing business Intelligence reporting tools.

•         5+ years of MSSQL programming knowledge.

•         3-5 years’ Experience with SSRS, SSAS, and SSIS

•         3-5 years’ using Microsoft Power BI, Business analytics, role-based dashboards & reporting, data visualization and analysis concepts and tools.
